SLICED
Sliced is a body of work that explores the transformation that occurs when cutting into fruits and vegetables. Each subject, originally defined by their natural and organic shapes, are distorted and redefined by the graphic qualities inflicted through the act of cutting. This contrasting visual element changes the nature of each subject from a simple product of life into an aesthetic objects crafted by the hands of man.
